Evelyn Mary Schneider, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Syracuse to Richard and Annie (Egle) Mathews. She was a dear sweet lady who had tremendous enthusiasm for life. She enjoyed travel, baking, sewing, gardening and dancing. She and her late husband, Rudy were members of the Lace Dance Club. She was a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. John the Baptist Church and later became a communicant of St. Augustine's Church in Baldwinsville. Early in her years she worked as an executive secretary at the Herald Journal.
Evelyn was predeceased by her first husband Elwyn (Binks) Fidler in 1972, her second husband Rudolph (Rudy) Schneider in 2001, and her brothers Howard and Robert.
She is survived by her sons, Lawrence and Michael Fidler; grandsons Christopher, Matthew and Patrick Fidler; her brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Ruth Mathews; several nieces and nephews; Douglas Fidler, and Schneider family members and many wonderful friends.
Services will be private. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Garden
