Evelyn J. Black, 84, of Liverpool passed away Wednesday. Born in Baldwinsville, Evelyn was an Avon Representative for many years. She was a member of the Liverpool 1st United Methodist Church, the Liverpool Woman's Fire Auxiliary, the Lysander Volunteer Fire Department Fire Auxiliary, and the Lysander Methodist Church. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank E. Black, brothers, Albert and Gordon See and a sister, Norma Cox.
She is survived by her son; Roger (Judy) Tuthill, a daughter; Elizabeth (Karl) Indivero, Step-son Thomas (Sandy) Black, her 1st husband; Floyd J. Tuthill, a sister; Mary Jean Lee, 3 grandchildren; Jeffrey (Nicole), Kathryn (Stephen) and Jennie Indivero, 3 step grandsons; David (Helen) and William Berube, Michael Black (Kristin) a step granddaughter; Genevieve, 2 great grandchildren; Emilee and Talan, and several step great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday evening at 7:30 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5:30-7:30 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main Street.
