Eva B. Schopfer, 88, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday. She was born in Iroquis, Ontario, Canada and came from a large Loving and Musical family. She owned and operated Harbor Lodge on the North Shore of Oneida Lake and worked for her nephew, Paul Birchmeyer. Eva volunteered for Francis House and the American Red Cross. She is predeceased by her husband, Irving F. Schopfer; brothers, Edward, Harold and Garnet Strader; and sisters, Edna, Gladys, Anna and Hilda.
Eva is survived by her daughter, Sandra Clarke; and special "Nephew" Robert Birchmeyer Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday, 1PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling Hour will be, Monday from 12-1PM at the funeral home, before services.
Contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist, Food Pantry.
