Eugene "Gino" Rahrle, Jr.

Eugene "Gino" Rahrle, Jr., 62, of Onondaga Hill, passed at home on Friday, March 7, 2025. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Sharon and Eugene Rahrle, Sr. Gino worked as a Corrections Officer at Jamesville Penitentiary (OCCF).

He was a people person who enjoyed connecting with people and spending time with his family. He also loved singing karaoke. Gino was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, hunting and telling stories. Gino was a faithful man that shared his love for the Lord, Jesus with everyone he came in contact with. Gino was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, brother, uncle, father, husband, Papa and a good friend.

He was predeceased by his parents; grandparents, including his Grandma Coe, who he shared a special relationship with, brother; Brian "Scott" Rahrle.

Gino is survived by his wife, Rosanne "Rosie" Roy-Rahrle; a family of blended children and grandchildren including; sons, Bradley (Mary Anne), Jeremy (Scotty), Jonathan (Ashley), Zachary (Robin); daughters, Andrea (Casey) and Kristina (Conrad); grandchildren, Brandi, Jamyson, Tanner, Lauren, Derek, Zachary, Lucy, Miah, Jonathan, Shane, Cammy, Madalyn, Abigail, Rose and Julianna; brothers, Russell and Michael (Kate); sisters, Rebecca, Michelle (Jamie) and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held in June.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help purchase a memory bench at Webster's Pond.
