Ethel C. (Smiles) Corkran, 94, of Liverpool, passed away on November 18, 2017.
Ethel was born in Syracuse, NY on February 21, 1923 to the late Owen and Ethel Owens.
She was a lifetime member of the women's auxiliary for VFW Post 3146. She enjoyed creating unique cards for her friends and family. She also volunteered at the VA Hospital and the DAV for many years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Corkran, Sr.in 2014; her first born, John Richard Corkran and great granddaughter, Mackenzie Corp.
She is survived by her 8 children, Sandra (Robert) Bambrick, Linda (Arthur) Corp, John (Dawn) Corkran Jr., Cheryl (Michael) DeBoer, George (Debra) Corkran, James (Jackie) Corkran, Owen (Bonnie) Corkran, Kevin (Lorielle) Corkran, and estranged son, Mark Corkran; 27 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, December 9, at the VFW Post 3146 from 1-4 PM.
