Ethel M. Horzempa, 97, of Cicero, passed away August 23, 2022. Ethel was born in Gove, Kansas on May 5, 1925.
Ethel was married in Chicago, IL, to her late husband, Joseph and they moved to Syracuse in 1953. They built their new home in Cicero in 1963. Ethel always enjoyed bowling, traveling with her sisters, gardening, and spending time with her family. Watching SU Basketball was her favorite past time.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Joseph Horzempa who passed in 1979; Partner, Lou Bodigoi who passed in 2005; Parents, Chester and Ethel Hudson; and Five Siblings, Elsie Maxine, Viola June, Doris, Lloyd and Oscar.
She is survived by her Daughter, Kathleen H. (Kevin) Smith; Sons, David (Tonia) Horzempa, Gary (Linda) Horzempa; many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren; Four Siblings, Donnie Hudson, Thelma Lore, Lois Merchant, and Carol Hudson; and many Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be Private with Burial at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay.
