Esther McDermott, 86, of Cicero passed away on Saturday, January 19th.
Esther was a lifetime member of the Solvay Methodist Church and The Order of the Eastern Star. She was an avid golfer who played for many years in the leagues at Riverside Golf Club.
Esther also enjoyed playing bingo each week at the Turning Stone Casino where she had many friends. Esther worked for 10 years as a teacher's aide at Lakeshore Elementary School.
Esther was a loving wife and mother who is survived by her husband of 58 years, William; her daughter, Elizabeth (Patrick) Herbert of Bridgeport; her son, Charles (Susan) McDermott of Arizona; and her cherished grandchildren, Amanda, Christopher, Maureen; and great grandson, Chase.
At Esther's request there will be no services.
Family and friends wishing to honor Esther's memory may make a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society.
