Ernest T. LaVergne, Sr., of Mattydale, passed away on Wednesday at home. He was born January 23, 1928 in Cumberland, Ontario, Canada, son of Harry and Elodi LaVergne. He was employed at Crouse Hinds for 35years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marie, two brothers, Omer and Gerald, two sisters, Theresa and Ida. He is survived by his son, Ernest LaVergne, Jr., daughter, Rosemarie (Sean) Fitzgibbons, Norfolk, VA, four beautiful grandchildren; Sean Patrick, Mark, Kiersten and Alyssa and two sisters, Rita and Celia.
As per his request he will be cremated and his ashes will be spread over his
favorite golf course.
There will be no services.
