Erma I. "Cathy" (Sotherden) McKay, 74, of Kirkville, went to be with the angels on Friday surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Syracuse. Kathy was an avid Yankee Fan, SU Fan, she enjoyed her trips to the casino, liked playing cards and the lottery. Kathy lived her life to take care of her family. She was a fantastic mother and wife. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She never said good-bye without saying, "Love You Baby."
Surviving are her husband Jim, of 20 years, daughter, Dawn Kemp, step children; Karen, Michele, Chris & Jim, Jr., along with her 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and her life-long friend, Harriet.
Services will be held on Monday 6 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. There are no calling hours.
