Erma (Chapman) Reese, 77, of East Syracuse died unexpectedly Thursday. She was born in the Town of Albion, NY on August 18, 1931 to Ward and Elsie Chapman. She grew up in Fernwood, NY and graduated from Pulaski High School. She married Harold Reese in 1949 who predeceased her in 1988. Also she was pre deceased by her daughter, Susan who died in 2000.
She is survived by a son; Steven of Franklin, Ohio, granddaughters; Jill Bender of Florida and Sarah Bender of Baldwinsville, NY, sister; Sally (Kenneth) Randall of Penfield, NY, uncles; Herman Chapman of North Syracuse, NY and Louis Chapman of Hastings, NY, nieces and nephews and several cousins. She will especially be missed by good friends and neighbors, Barbara Knowles and her daughter Marcia Provo.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be private.
