Erin Catherine Mcdonald

Erin Catherine McDonald, born in Saranac Lake in 1959, joined her "Pops" John, her uncle Ed and cousin Terry on February 18, 2021.
Erin graduated from Cicero High School and SUNY Cortland. She was an avid soccer fan, all county soccer player and later a ref for section 3 and section 5. She spent 30 years teaching American History and at-risk students. Erin coached Special Olympics and cheerleading in Pflugerville, TX. She served on the North Syracuse Board of Education for four years working for the community she loved. It would be true to say that Erin never met a stranger.
Erin is survived by her mom Kay, her sister, Jennifer, her brother John (Amy), nephews, Mark, Kyle (Courtney), and Moyah, grandnephew, Brooks and grandniece, Charlee.
