Eric S. Salisbury, 82, of Pulaski, passed away March 25, 2021.
Eric was born in Gouverneur, New York on December 26, 1938 to the late Eric and Isabel Salisbury. He was an avid softball player, coaching many championship teams in Onondaga County. He also coached a professional softball team the Syracuse Salts. Eric was a lifetime member of the Nedrow Fire Department where he was a past chief. He worked at the 911 dispatch center where he won many awards and was employee of the year. Eric loved his hats and was never seen without his fedora. He loved spending summers at his camp in Brennan's Beach and his winters in Florida. Most importantly he loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Eric was predeceased by a brother, Carl Salisbury; and a step-son, Patrick Case.
He is survived by his wife, Carole A. Case; three daughters, Kim (Mike) Shane, Lori Solitto, Jill (Dan Davis) Huggins; and a son, Eric (Amanda) Salisbury; step-daughter, Sue (Grant) White; 19 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse. Funeral service will be Friday, 11am, at the funeral home.
A burial in White Chapel Memory Gardens to follow.
