Eric A. Knoblock

Eric Andrew Knoblock, 37, of Metairie, LA, son of Sandra Knoblock passed away on Sunday April 25th at Oschner Hospital after a short illness.

Eric was born in Syracuse on January 1, 1984. He graduated from West Genesee High School in 2002; after which he attended Onondaga Community College. He worked many years at Price Chopper in the Seafood department and most recently worked at General Works in Harahan, LA. Eric's passion was working on his cars and being "Mr. Fix It" helping out family and friends at any time. In his spare time, Eric enjoyed playing basketball, golfing and he loved going to concerts and WWE events; he was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles Fan. Eric loved his dog Bayleigh, and enjoyed going to the dog park and running errands with her. Another one of Eric's passions was cooking for his mother and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard J. Knoblock who passed away in 2010.

In addition to his mother Sandra; Eric is survived by his brothers, Ryan Knoblock and Nathan (Samantha) Knoblock; his nieces, Meghaan, Jacquline and Rosiline; his cousin, Kurt; and his Aunt J.

Calling hours will take place Friday, from 4-7pm with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main, North Syracuse, NY.

Burial will take place Saturday, 10am, at Woodgate Cemetery-12360 NY-28, Woodgate, NY.
