Enrichetta "Rita" Manfredi

Enrichetta "Rita" Manfredi, 73, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 27, 2021.

Rita was born in San Mango D'Aquino, Calabria, Italy on April 1, 1948 to the late Donato and Rosina Caputo.

Rita always welcomed friends and family any time of day with a warm heart, coffee, homemade cookies and heartfelt guidance. She loved to watch everyone sit around the table and enjoy her cooking, soppressata and homemade sauce. A parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church, Rita enjoyed Sunday Espresso with Joey, weekly trips to the casino with Maria, being a hairdresser, gardening, playing Trouble with her grandchildren and visits from her fur grandchild, Chuckles.

She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, Angelo; Daughter, Angela and Brother, Ferdinando Caputo.

She is survived by her Daughter, Maria (John) Rice; Son, Joseph (Kim) Manfredi; Daughter, Rose (Mike) Fortunato; Brother, Francesco (Felicia) Caputo; Sister-in-Law, Carolina Caputo; Six grandchildren, Christina, Gabriella, Tyler, Angela, Isabella, Juliana; Three great grandchildren, Noah, Asher, Lorenzo; As well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 2 from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM at Epiphany Parish – Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Entombment to follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
