Engelberto "Berto" Fernandez, 69, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2022.
He was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico on November 6, 1952 to the late Rustico and Carmen Fernandez.
Earlier in life, Berto lived and worked on a farm. Later, he retired from landscaping after many years of hard work. In his free time, he enjoyed wood carving, fishing and dancing but most of all he loved to spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his Sibling, Luis A. Fernandez.
He is survived by his Sons, Angel (Terrianne) Fernandez, Engelberto (Tiffany) Fernandez; Daughter, Diana Maria (Karri) Fernandez; Ten Siblings, Teofila Fernandez, Ana Fernandez, Margarita Fernandez, Domitila Fernandez, Carmen M. Fernandez, Fransisca A. Fernandez, Hilario Fernandez, Felix Fernandez, Rustico Fernandez, Maritza I. Fernandez; Eight grandchildren, Isabela Angel, Angelina Marie, Elizabeth, Bartolomeo "Barto", Donatella, Cristian Valentino, Engel Alberto and Lucas Angelo.
Services will be private.
