Emogene L. Georgevich, 93, formerly of East Syracuse, passed away January 29, 2022.
Emogene was born in Syracuse, New York on August 2, 1928 to the late David and Emma Russell.
Emogene retired from USPS after over 20 years. At the post office, she loved responding to the letters written to Santa over the years. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. An avid card player, her favorite game to play was Push & Shove with her sisters.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Eugene Georgevich and Son-in-Law, James Michel.
She is survived by her Daughters, Pamela (Stephen) Deckard, Jeanne Salanger Michel, Karen (Dale) Stuper; Sons, Stephen Georgevich, Eugene Georgevich, Lance (Gretchen) Georgevich, Mark (Lynne) Georgevich; Sisters, Marilyn (Ronald) Wheatley and Audrey Bullock; 21 Grandchildren & 21 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 1st 2022 from 4 to 7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. Funeral services and burial will be private on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
