Emma J. "EJ" Teunis, 86, of North Syracuse, entered into eternal life when the Lord called her home on March 24, 2024.
Emma was born in Holland to Henry and Marie Teunis on January 31, 1938.
She lived many different lives in her lifetime, and is remembered by all she knew as a kindred spirit who loved unconditionally, making a difference in the lives of all she encountered throughout her years.
Retiring in 2013 as owner of Jillian Bradley & Associates of Wall Street, she continued her missionary work in El Salvador with those who had become her extended family through her missionary works through the Lord. El Salvador was her happy place.
A loving Mother and Grandmother, she is survived by her two daughters, Rachel Mucerino, Brigida Mucerino; son, George Bopp; son in law, Drew Thurmond; two granddaughters, Ariella Coleman, Alyssa Montuori; five grandsons, Jordan Coleman, Anthony Montuori, Matthew Montuori, George Bopp Jr. and Marc Bopp; sister, Astrid Teunis, niece, Blakely Ponomarenko, and seven Great Grandchildren.
We will remember you always, smiling on your bench on Rockaway Beach in your cowboy hat.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 11 am to 12 pm, with a service at 12pm
