Emma K. Sturm

Emma K. Sturm, 90, of Liverpool and formerly of Schenectady, passed away Saturday with her family beside her. Born in Ephrata, NY Emma lived in Schenectady, NY for most of her life before moving to Liverpool 3 ½ years ago. She was the Head Payroll Clerk in the Attorney Generals Office in Albany for many years before retiring in 1981. She was a member and past president of the Schenectady Lioness Club and also a member and past President of the Women's Democratic Club in Schenectady.
Emma is survived by her daughter Edith Yeldon, a sister, Margaret Farhart, 4 grandchildren, Connie (Dan) Ager, Thomas (Tammy) Yeldon Jr., Michael (Kathy) Yeldon and Jeffrey Yeldon, seven great grandchildren, Nicole, Danny, Jeremy, TJ, Jennifer, Brian and Catrina; and one great great grandchild, Haley.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will take place in the spring at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville, NY. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
