Emma Caporin Mizener, 83, of Brewerton, passed away on Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born Aug.27, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA a daughter of Otto and Abby Hart Higgins. She worked for the N.Y.S. Workers Compensation, as a Comp Examiner. She was first married to Roy W. Caporin. He passed away Jan. of 1969. She then married Ralph Mizener in Brewerton for 34 years. She was a member of the Brewerton Fire Dept. Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph, two sons, Earl (Becky) Caporin, Mark (Connie) Caporin, two daughters, Carol (Ron) Osborne, Nancy (Robert) Schwarz, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by five step
children, Dale, Mike and Patrick Mizener, Debbie Hratko and Melissa Rodford.

Services will be held on Friday 10 am from New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm., at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
