Ellis James Maynor, 50, of Syracuse, passed away August 4, 2012. He served in the Army from 1980-1995. Ellis worked for the Syracuse City School Systems and the VA Medical Center, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Maynor Williams, his father, Ellis Maynor and his step-father, Charles Williams.
Ellis leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, ex-wife, Corline Maynor, one daughter, Kashonda Sherree Maynor of Syracuse; two sons, DeMico James Maynor of Clarksville, TN, Keyon Marquese Maynor of Ohio; step-son, Willie Deondre Frisson stationed at Atoka Naval Base, Atoka, TN; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hour will be Thursday, 11-12PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY. Services will follow at 12 PM, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the Onon. Co. Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
