Ellen Searles, 65, of Cicero, passed away May 26, 2018.
Ellen was born in Syracuse, New York on June 5, 1952 to the late Norbert and Elvira Stauss.
Ellen retired from Laboratory Alliance of CNY. In her free time she was an avid gardener, loved woodworking, home improvement projects, and spending time at her camp in Snowbird Lake.
She was preceded in death by her son, Henry Searles; a sister, Sister Cyril Stauss; and a brother, Richard Stauss.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Meghan) Arcuri; son, Steven Searles; a sister, Kathleen (James) Walch; grandchildren, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Michael; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212. A funeral mass will take place Thursday, 10AM at Sacred Heart Church.
