Ellen L. Cowher, of Fulton, passed away on Friday at her home. Born in Syracuse, daughter of William and Mildred Horrigan. She previously worked at NY Telephone for several years. She enjoyed spending time with family, she was a member of the Fulton Polish Home and was affiliated with several motorcycle organizations in New York State. She was predeceased by her son, Phillip in 1979 and her father William in 2001.
She is survived by her husband Thomas of 28 years, 2 daughters: Jeanne and Marianne Jackson, 3 step sons: Thomas Jr., David and Michael Cowher, her mother Mildred, 4 sisters: Barbara, Debbie, Robin & Leslie,16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many other extended family members.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
