Elizabeth R. "Betty" Smith, age 97, formerly of Cicero, NY; Myrtle Beach, SC and most recently Loretto Cunningham, passed away March 10, 2014.
She was born September 27, 1916 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late George and Katherine Sullivan.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Bradford D. Smith. She was also predeceased by her three brothers, George, Paul, and Robert Sullivan.

Surviving are her daughter, Susan Lee (John) Munda of Raleigh, NC; sons, William P. (Marsha) Smith of Blossvale, NY and Howard G. (Roberta) Smith of North Syracuse; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She retired from the North Syracuse Police Department in 1985 as an Administrative Assistant. She was a former member of the PBA, The Cicero Lioness Club, and the Arrowhead Golf Course.

Calling hours will be 1-2pm with a memorial service immediately following at 2pm on Friday March 21st at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Anna's Pantry, c/o Sacred Heart Church, 8229 S. Main St. Cicero, NY 13039.
