Elizabeth Anne Koch passed away peacefully on the morning of July 17th, 2022. She was the second of three children, born to Florence (Condlin) Reagan and Otis Reagan on March 19th, 1934, in Ogdensburg, NY. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Daniel; son, Kenneth; brother, Paul; and sister, Dorothy.
Elizabeth graduated from Madrid Central High School in 1951 and from the Central City Business Institute in 1952. She was a member and treasurer for the National Secretaries Association. She moved to Syracuse and began working for Chambers Architecture. Most people remember her from her many years as secretary at the Woodland Elementary School, from which she retired. Elizabeth married Daniel D Koch on January 21, 1954, and they had two children, Kenneth and Robert.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Robert, his wife Katherine, and their children, Clarissa and Van of Denver, CO; daughter-in-law, Melissa Koch and children, Ryan and Nick of Niagara Falls, NY; and many special nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth liked to bowl in her youth and was a wonderful conversationalist. Family meant the world to her, and she loved spending time with relatives at gatherings. Elizabeth was also known for creating wonderful knitted and cross-stitched pieces. Elizabeth and Daniel would spend their winters in Florida in their golden years and had over 60 years of laughter and love together.
A Memorial Ceremony will be held at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Minoa on August 27th, 2022 at 11am.
