Elizabeth M. Koagel

Elizabeth Ann (McNamara) Koagel, 70, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on June 4, 2024, in Syracuse, NY.

She was born on February 20, 1954, in Syracuse, NY.

Elizabeth was predeceased her parents Robert & Marlen; Husband, Robert Koagel and Granddaughter Kaitelyn.

Elizabeth is survived by her Two children Robert (Christa) and Brian Koagel, Eleven grandchildren Amanda, Brittney, Robert III, Christa, Isabelle, Abigail, Jacob, Noelle, Brian Jr, Bryce, and Cassandra, Two great grandchildren Kaitelyn and Brian, and her siblings Marilyn McNamara, Kathleen Gonya, Robert McNamara and David McNamara.

Elizabeth was a 25+ years employee of St. Joseph Hospital and ended her carrier at Loretto. Elizabeth lived for her family always there to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

Her Grandchildren were extra special to her as she always was there to support them in whatever they did. Elizabeth never missed a Ball Game, Family event, or anything that had to do with her Grandchildren and could always be seen on the sidelines rooting them on. Never was there a better person to call Sister, Mother, Grandmother or Friend.

She will truly be missed by many but will always be with us and watching over the family and friends that she truly loved.

Services for Elizabeth will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funeral’s on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 4-7pm. Flowers can be sent to New Comer Cremations & Funeral’s
