Elizabeth "Betty" Karker, born December 30th, 1929 passed away on Saturday, January 29th, 2022.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Karker and her sister, Irene Strobel.
Betty is survived by her devoted companion of 27 years, Darrell Smith; son, Robert (Joy) Karker; daughters, Barbara Sun and Diane Karker; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Betty had a passion for golfing. She also enjoyed gardening and playing cards. Betty and her husband were hair stylists and owned Mr. Edward's Beauty Salon.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 5th 11am-1pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow. Burial will be held in the Spring in Belle Isle Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County.
