Elizabeth (Green) Szkotak

Elizabeth (Green) Szkotak, born on March 25, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully at her home in Syracuse on April 1, 2025. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend, whose warmth and creativity touched the lives of many.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Lawrence Szkotak and three children, Robert, Lori, and Nicholas Szkotak. .

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her son, James Szkotak. 

An avid gardener, Elizabeth found joy and solace in cultivating her plants. Elizabeth’s artistic flair was evident in her passion for arts and crafts, inspiring both her family and friends with her creative projects. She was also deeply interested in genealogy, dedicating time to discover and document her family’s history. She also enjoyed reading fantasy novels.

Elizabeth will be remembered for her talents and hobbies but more importantly for her kindness and compassion.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
