June 22, 1955 — October 21, 2021

Elizabeth "Liz" Christensen, 66, of North Syracuse, passed away on Thursday, October 21st. Liz worked for the past 20 years at Twin Trees III in North Syracuse. She was a devoted Nana to her four grandchildren.

Liz was predeceased by her parents, Theresa and Bernard Sykes and brother, Chuck Sykes.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Gary; step-sons, Jason Christensen and Eric (Jennifer) Christensen; grandchildren, Danielle, Joshua, Allyssa and Devin; former daughter-in-law, Pamela Christensen; siblings, Mary (Bernie) Conklin, Paula Markum, Tom (Lisa) Sykes and John Sykes; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 29th 12-3 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 3 PM. Burial will take place at a later date in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
