Elizabeth "Betty" Winters, 100, of Ithaca, passed away on Friday. She retired from Cornell University and was active in the Brooktondale Fire Dept. Auxillary.
She is predeceased by her husband, John "Duke" Winters, a daughter, Sheila Petersen and a grandson, Robbie Petersen.
She is survived by a son, John Winters; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a brother, Gordon Wyllie; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
