Eleanor P. Becker, 92, of Syracuse passed away Saturday. Born in Syracuse she was raised in Skaneateles. She was a member of Our Lady of Solace Church and a former member of the American Legion – General Pulaski Post #1650.
She is predeceased by her 1st husband; Frederick Bliss and her 2nd husband; Essle (Ace) Becker; and a stepson, Richard Becker; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gabriel; three sisters, Froma Drasse, Beatrice DeKing and Ernestine Capone.
She is survived by her step children; Paul Becker and Yvonne Lanni, several nieces and nephews and her special care giver, her niece, Beverly Killius.
A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 12PM at St. Rose of Lima, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Water for Nigeria, C/O Fr. Innocent, 425 Beechwood Ave., Liverpool, NY 13088.
