Eleanor D. Barden, 88, of Parish and previously of Jamesville, passed away Tuesday at her son's home. Born in Syracuse, Eleanor was a 57 year member of the OCVFLA and LAFASNY. She is predeceased by her husband, William H. Barden.
She is survived by a son, Roger (Carol) Barden of Parish; two daughters, Barbara (John) Thompson of Elbridge, Sandra Kelly of Cicero; a brother, Gerald Davidson of Dewitt; eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren
Services will be held Friday at 11 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday from 3-8 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
Contributions in Eleanor's name may be made to the Fireman's Home on the Hudson.
