Eleanor F. Annese, 91, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully February 7, 2022.
Eleanor was born in Chittenango, New York on January 1, 1931 to the late Angela and Joseph Emmi.
She worked as a waitress for many years. She loved her job, and was very hard working and dependable. Eleanor loved to dance, listen to music, work outside, and spend time with family. Her religion was important to her, and she enjoyed spending time at church. Eleanor adored her grandkids Aleia (South Africa), David "Beloved David" (Texas) and his wife, Maggie, and her first great grandchild, Jackson Lewis, who is 7 months old. She never had the opportunity to meet him, but cherished watching videos of him.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank V. Annese who passed Nov. 26, 1983, as well as 8 of her siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances A. Annese-Bucci (Charles Bucci); brother, Tony (Carol) Emmi; granddaughter, Aleia Bucci; grandson, David Bucci (Maggie O'Hara); great grandchild, Jackson Lewis Bucci; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, show kindness and generosity to the wait staff at your favorite restaurant. If you'd prefer a memorial contribution, you may send one to the Alzheimer's Association in Ellie's Memory.
