September 26, 1936 — December 23, 2020
Elaine M. (Dimon) Cortright, age 84 of N. Syracuse, NY passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Malta House.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Virginia (Smith) Dimon; sister, Beverly Kopp; brothers, George Dimon, Jr and Edward Joseph Dimon; and grandson, Derek Weiland.
Elaine is survived by her children, Joy (Kevin) Burns, Kelly (James) Hiller, Donn E. (Michelle) Schuldt, Tobie (Richard) Weiland and Tim Schuldt; brother-in-law, Richard Kopp; 13 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; life-long friends, the Schumann and the Casslemon families; as well as her loving cat, Wilson.
Elaine retired from BJ's Wholesale Club after 25 years of dedicated service. She was an avid golfer, bowler and had a love for the slot machines. Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and best friend who always put everyone's needs before her own. Elaine will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Elaine's life will be held at a date and time to be announced at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest with her parents at the N. Syracuse Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send prayers and blessings.
