Elaine C. Howard, 65, of Village Green, Baldwinsville, died peacefully at home. She was born in Syracuse where she lived most of her life. She resided in Saratoga Springs from 1990 to 1992. Elaine enjoyed a long career in the retail business. She worked for Dey Brothers for 25 years as a buyer, then store manager. She was also a store manager for Nature's Touch, Great Northern Mall from 1994 until they closed. She is survived by four children, Debbie Morgan, Lisa Cain, Julie Boyd and Scott Howard; eight grand children, Kari, Kris, Betsy, Andrew, Tyler, Bobby, Kaitlyn and Bridget, and her beloved cat Samantha. She was known as "Howie" by her friends and "Grandma Howie" by her grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 9 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
