Eelena I. Randall, 82, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 27, 1932 in Montpelier, VT, daughter of the late Norman and Laura West. Eelena was a foster parent for nearly 35 years. She loved each one as if they were her own. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Eelena was a member of the Westvale Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur G. Randall in 1992 and her brother, Ray West.
Surviving are her 8 sons: Bruce, Robert (Jacquie), David (Mary Sue), Arthur (Beth), Ray (Kathy), Ken (Lynn), William (Susan), Gerald (Kristin), 5 daughters: Bonnie (Don) Multon, Patricia Randall, Rachael (Duane) Smith, Renne Clearo, Laura (Dan) Gerew, 23 grandchildren: Sharon, Dennis, Erika, Rhonda, Brenda, Randall, Matthew, Darren, Alexandra, Justin, Alyssa, Rachelle, Jordan , Celena, Josh, Stephanie, Vincent, Monica, Austin, Collin, Carter, Chloe, & Callie, 2 great grandsons, Lucas & Landon.
A memorial service will be held on Friday 11am at the Westvale Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2511 W. Genesee St.,Syracuse. Following services there will be a reception at the church. There are no calling hours. All are welcomed to attend Eelena's Celebration.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkview Junior Academy or to the American Heart Assoc.
