Edwin W. Carter
Edwin William Carter, 82, of Brewerton, passed away, Saturday at the VA Medical Center. Born in Ellenburg, NY, he lived in N. Syracuse and Brewerton most of his life. Edwin was a Korean War Veteran and retired from New Process Gear with 25 years of service. He is predeceased by his parents, Ethel and William Carter and a brother, Elger.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former, BettyJane Payrot; daughter, Barbara (Charles) Golden; 3 brothers, Floyd,, Loyal and Leon Carter; 4 sisters, Hilda Lagasse, Lenet King, Luella Germain and Darlene LaBombard. Several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, 9:30AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Entombment will follow in St Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt. Calling Hours will be Tuesday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home.
