Edwin J. Burkhart, 86, of Liverpool, passed away at home on Wednesday surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 16, 1927 in Solvay, son of Edwin S. and Genevieve Burkhart. He served in the US Army from 1945-46. Edwin was a graduate of Syracuse University in 1952 and was last employed at GTE as a computer programmer for over 25 years.
Surviving are his wife Anne L. (Moriarty) of 57 years, 3 sons: Ronald, Gary (Cindy), Daniel (Marjie), 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, along with 3 sisters: Shirley Quinn, Nellie Milliti & Barbara Andorlara.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday 10 am at Christ the King Church, Bayberry. There are no calling hours.
