Edward M. Ziemba

Edward M. Ziemba, 78 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Born on June 6, 1946 in Prague, Czechoslovakia (currently The Czech Republic) to the late Edward and Mary Ziemba.

 He loved all things baseball, especially collecting baseball cards and getting autograph’s, cheering on The SU Women’s Basketball Team and watching professional wrestling. He loved making memories with his daughters and grandchildren. His love for music especially the “Golden Oldies” has been instilled throughout his life.

 He is survived by his children; Maria Heisler, Karen Johnson, Pamela (Chris) Propheter, Carolyn Ziemba and Stephanie (Dave) Pringle; grandchildren, Gunter, Cody, Aiden, Johnathan, Brayden, Ellie and Deirdre (honorary); twin sister, Anne Marie Myers and a nephew, Craig.

 Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 4-7pm. Funeral Services will follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Autism Society of CNY.
