Edward F. Schone, 84, of North Syracuse, passed away December 12, 2022. He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother and Son. He was always the life of the party, always making people laugh.
Edward was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 24, 1938 to the late John and Lillian Schone.
A US Navy Veteran, Edward served from 1955-1963. He later retired from having several businesses. He spent his retirement working for the North Syracuse School District as a bus attendant. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, traveling with his wife and enjoying camaraderie at the many organizations he supported. He was an active member of the Camilus Elks Lodge No 31. He was the Commander of the American Legion as well as supporting the VFW.
He is survived by his Son, Edward (Maria) Schone, Daughter, Susan (Ron) Lough; Son, Peter Schone; Grandchildren, Jessica (David) Wojtanowski, Nicholas Schone and Olivia Schone; Great Grandchildren, Xander and Maddox Wojtanowski; Sisters Janet Garone, Diana Colelli and Pat Campbell, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Pat and Edward will take place Saturday, January 7th from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Camillus Elks Lodge, located at 6117 Newport Rd, Camillius, NY 13031
