Edward Forrest Rettinger

Edward Forrest Rettinger, 80, of Pennellville, passed away January 6, 2025. Edward was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 15, 1944 to the late Edward and Anna Mae Rettinger. He served with the US Army in 1966-1970. Edward worked for many years as a diesel mechanic with Penn DDA. 

He enjoyed woodworking and Lionel model trains. He loved to be outdoors and was always busy. He could fix anything! Most importantly he loved spending time with his grandchildren. 

He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Forrest Rettinger, Jr. 

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Reva Rettinger; two sons, Matthew (Kelly) Rettinger, Bryan Rettinger; grandchildren, Jack, Julianna Rettinger; two sisters, Susan Horne, and Molly Hennigan; and a brother, Michael (Nancy) Rettinger.

 A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
