Edward J. Presbyla, Jr., 65, of Cicero, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Monday.
Eddie graduated from Liverpool High School in 1969 then later graduated from O.C.C. and Columbia College with degrees in Business Administration and Criminal Justice. He was a disabled Vet, having served in the U.S. Air Force from 1971 until 1983.
He enjoyed fishing with his dad, brother and grandchildren. He also enjoyed bowling and trips to the casino. Eddie "Pa" especially enjoyed the special moments spent with his grandson, Daniel.
Eddie is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 45 years, Peggy (Pinto); 2 loving daughters, Lauri (Don) Masters and Cheryl Lynn (Dan) Scharett; loving parents, Edward and Helen Presbyla; brother, Michael (Dianne) Presbyla; 4 cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Zachary, Mykenzie and Donovan; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A calling hour will be held Saturday 4-5PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 5PM.
