Edward A. Pierce Jr.

Edward A. Pierce Jr., 57, of Central Square, passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2023. Edward was born in Syracuse, New York on March 3, 1966 to Edward and Jeanne Pierce.

Edward was a Steam Fitter for the Local Union 81 since 1989. He was a long-time member of the Fuller-Taylor American Legion Post 915 where he played pitch. He was an avid outdoorsman growing up on Oneida Lake. He enjoyed spending time in The Adirondacks, and sharing his joy of hunting and fishing with his children. Edward enjoyed spending time with his family and neighbors, often hosting gatherings and cookouts at his home in Big Bay. He was well known, had many friends and was willing to help anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Edward & Helen Pierce and Norman & Alma Fergerson.

He is survived by his Parents, Edward Sr. and Jeanne Pierce; Children, Josh Pierce, Emily (Kyle) Smith, Elizabeth (Jordan) Barber, Eric (Cassie Davidson) Pierce; Three Grandsons, Owen, Bryce, Brooks; Sister, Michele Cean; and several Nieces & Nephews.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Oneida Lake Association .
