Edward W. Morgan Jr., 68, of Clay passed away peacefully Tuesday with his family by his side at University Hospital. Born in Cooperstown, raised in Richfield Springs, NY he resided in Clay for most of his life. Edward was a member of the Upstate Carpenter's Local 747 & Rochester Millwrights for over 45 years. He operated Barmor Erectors for 25 years. He also was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Edward was a member of the Army Reserves.
Edward is survived by his wife of 44 years Barbara (Priebe), daughter, Elizabeth Freid, a son, Edward W. Morgan VIII., sisters, Barbara Birmingham and Kelly Morgan, a brother Donald Morgan and 7 Grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will be private. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse.
