Edward Meagher

Edward J. Meagher, 78, of North Syracuse, died Saturday at James Square Nursing Home in Syracuse. Born in Syracuse, he retired from the United States Postal Service, Taft Rd. Branch. He is a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the VFW Post 7290 and American Legion, Mattydale. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pat Meagher, son; Thomas E. (Wendy) Meagher of Constantia, daughter; Kim Stanford of North Syracuse, grandchildren; Kaylee and Ellen Meagher, Jim and Erica Stanford. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. Burial will be in the North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 5-7 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
