Edward A. Mattiaccio

Edward A. Mattiaccio, 91, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully December 22, 2023. Ed was born in Syracuse, New York on October 7, 1932. Ed retired in 1992 from General Electric, where he was employed as a technician for over 42 years. He proudly served in the US Army and is a veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed watching war movies, woodworking, crafting with his wife, and spending time with his two loving grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Louise Mattiaccio; sister, Louise Smith; and brother, Eugene Mattiaccio.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sharon A. Mattiaccio; their daughter, Gena (John) Monahan; their grandchildren, Aiden and Avery; his other children, Mary Thomas, Eddie Mattiaccio, John Mattiaccio, Judy Mattiaccio, and David Mattiaccio; siblings, Anthony (Mary) Mattiacio, Michael (Ann) Mattiacio, and Rosie (Jerry) Bonk; and several other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday December 27, 2023 from 4 - 6pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. Chapel services at the cemetery will be held the following morning at 11am at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Silver Fox of Baldwinsville.
