Edward Kjarvig Eastman, 83, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at home. He was a Life Member of Teamsters Local 317. He worked for Ontario Freight Lines, Acme Coal, Eastman Trucking, Coutante Warehouse and Transfer. Ed became the Owner of Coutante Warehouse and Transfer in 1967. Ed was a loving and devoted husband to Margaret M. Eastman, who preceded him in death after 62 years of marriage.
Surviving are two sons, William E.(Harriet), Leffert C. (Peg) Eastman; two daughters, Carolyn M. (Howard) Keach, Ruth E. (Neil) Haberlen-Waelder; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services are private. There will be no calling hours.
