Edward H. Potter, 94, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday at Menorah Park.

He was born on December 8, 1920, in Watertown, New York to Harold and Gladys Potter.

He was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy.

On June 3, 1947 he married Emma and they lived many years in LaFayette before moving to Liverpool.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma of 67 years; parents, Harold and Gladys Potter; four sisters; and two brothers.

Edward is survived by daughters, Gloria J. Topolski and Cathy (Jeffrey) Jordan; son, Edward (Terri) Potter; a sister, Mildred West; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two great great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.

Services will be held on Thursday, 9 am at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
