Edward Elderbroom, 50, of Cicero, passed away at home, in his favorite chair, surrounded by his family Wednesday evening after a long illness. He was a tremendous husband and father. He enjoyed many activities such as bowling, bicycling, working out, putting his blood sweat and tears into the Gillette Road Softball Complex and Lady's Skychiefs and golfing, where he was a member of Arrowhead Golf Course. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Elderbroom; his two daughters, Jennifer Elderbroom and Tiffany (Stephen Jensen) Elderbroom; his parents, Harvey and Nancy Elderbroom; his brothers, Bill (Peg) Elderbroom and Dennis (Sue) Elderbroom; and his sister, Debbie (Tim) Swartz; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday, 10 am at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.

Ed's family would like to thank the Crouse nurses on 4 South for taking such great care of him.
