Edward J. Donnelly, 83 of Liverpool, passed away at Francis House surrounded by his loving family.
He served in the USMC and played on their baseball team as a pitcher. He met and married his wife, Elvin "Evie" of 62 years in Virginia, then moved to Syracuse to raise their family. Ed was an avid fisherman and Crane Operator at Carrier Corp. for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Evie; children, Catherine (David) Detor and Edward Donnelly; grandchildren, Jessica LaGrow, Jack and Phillip Greacen; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Lorelei LaGrow and Ethan and Trevor Greacen.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, N. Syracuse on Monday 10am-12noon. Funeral Service will follow at 12noon. Interment will remain private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
