Edna I. McDonald, 64, of N. Syracuse died Sunday at home. Edna was the daughter of the late, Edward and Bernice Allen Phillips. She previously worked for The County of Oswego as a Home Health Aide. Edna was known for her meatloaf, meatballs and baked goods. She enjoyed music, watching TV, walking and just being outdoors. Edna had a heart of gold and would always help anyone in need.
Surviving are her husband of 10 years, Joseph McDonald; son, Anthony Roe; daughters, Deneen Hayden and Karen (Wayne) Pogroski; brothers, Howard, Carl, Jake and Bruce Phillips; sisters, Betty Jean Bartlett and Bernadette Lewis; five grandchildren, a great-grandson, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 12:30-1:30 PM with services to follow immediately at 1:30 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will be private.
